Well well, this is not exactly encouraging news for Microsoft - especially since they have been really boasting about this episodic DLC and going on and on about it for a while, like it's their "secret" nuclear weapon for the Xbox 360 domainating the console/software sales this year. It's not looking so good for MS's GTA 4 ambitions as it seems now.
Well now that this GTA 4 DLC is coming out next year instead of this year, alot of people almost certainly wont know too...
Cant you see things are changing now? Burnout Paradise, DMC4 and COD4 (slightly) look better on the PS3, Assassin's Creed looks identical when the TV settings are put right. You should know this man.
@ cain141 - Man, you dont know what you missed! It's a shame you never got into it, because GTA III, GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas were all totally enjoyable, fun, classic games. Seriously you missed out big time, those three games all had very immersive, interesting plots and storylines and the most memorable characters. Well at least you can see what you missed on GTA 4 when you finally buy it and play it.

While I agree with some of the very valid and good points and you have made, I feel you have slightly misjudged and in some cases, exaggerated the whole 360 vs PS3 scenario. I do generally believe that both consoles both have very good games. The PS3 and 360 each have their pros and cons but with the backing of some facts and justifiable, credible speculation - the PS3 seemingly has more prospective-looking times that lie ahead, more so than the 360.

I kind of agree with you there. It's that fact that the 360 has so many negative aspects that has put me off it, plus the fact they (MS )mainly boast of FPS/alien-shooter games as their best stuff. The 360 lacks many things and it's slight lack of variety in games does not in anyway endear me to it.
Nice price cut. I must say at that the new low price of an Xbox 360 (Arcade) looks very tempting enough to convince many gamers to buy one.
I live in Europe (UK) and however I for one, will not be buying one. My PS3 contains all the technological features that I look for in a current/next-gen console. The 360 espcially the now very cheap Arcade version just seems to be lacking a bit too much vital features for me (no HHD, HDMI output, no hi-def disc format) and thats not good ...
Well it's all good at least you rectified your situation, because for real you did sound very hurt and sad and it was frankly quite hilarious to read! I'm a PS3 owner but I aint no fanboy, I just dont agree that the 360 has the best games, it has some of the best games now but not all. My current list of best games is Unchartered, and thats a PS3 exclusive title - and no lie it was an incredible-looking and thoroughly enjoyable game.
Are you an a**hole or what? Did you not read my post? I was disagreeing with Mike the Capo about his claims that the PS3 had a failure rate just as bad as the 360's. That's what my point about him lying was, it was not that I did not believe he had a bad PS3 experience. Whats sad is that in this current age of technology that the 360 can display hi-def-style graphics but cant play any hi-def disc formats, only DVDs. Whats also sad is that the Microsoft only realised very late on that they needed to put HMDI outputs in their consoles. And it is sad that the 360 has no HDD. I'm not saying that the 360 does not have a variety of games, of course it does. It's that I personally feel just too many of the best and good 360-only and even multiplat titles tend to be either first-person shooters, or just mainly shooting games (Halo 3, Bioshock, Gears of War, Orange Box) especially with alien slaying. First of all the PS3 is not an ugly black box, I think it's got the best design look for a console out now. Sleek,shiny, black and simple design but yet very modern-looking complemented by a chrome trim. It certainly looks better than that ugly 360 design or very plastic looking Wii. I think the PS3 will get those online issues sorted real soon, I should expect them too, especially with this Home thing.
